Waterclaw padded up to the frsh-kill pile and collapsed next to it.
''God everyone's so lively, can't they all just chill out?'' he moaned.
He stretched his paw forward and nabbed a nice juicy mouse
''I guess this'll do..'' he opened his mouth and started to nibble the mouse.
''Urgh.. I wonder if i can skip duty and sleep in the den?''

Gazeclaw came up behind him, with a lashing tail and a cross hiss.
''You can't skip your duties, mouse-brain!!'' she yowled loudly, spreading a ripple of confusion through the camp.
''Get your work done first!'' she spat at the startled tom.
''Great Starclan, it's like keeping an apprentice in order!!''
she angrily nabbed a pice of prey before nimbly turning around and stalking off to a soft patch of grass where her friends lay.

Her silver paws shifted aat a soft pace as Blackleaf padded to the fresh kill pile her tounge runnin over her jaws as a growl rumbled deep withen her belly. Her reen eyes scanned over the prey and rested on many plup fish. Her head lowered and she snagged one up in her jaws before she shifted towards the two of her clanmates ears twitching as she crouched between them to eat.

Gazeclaw padded up to the medicine cat and bowed her head to her.
''Blackleaf, do you want to come and sit next to me'' she offered to the pretty she-cat.

''hmph, annoying she-cat'' he muttered before trailing off to sign in for border patrol.
All he wanted was to rest some more before doing his duties, besides, everyone would think the job would be done faster without him anyways.

Her small tounge ran over her jaw "sure, i'd love to" she purred as she got to her paws ears twitchin as she flicked a gaze to the tom and meowed "mind if waterclaw joins us" she added

Gazeclaw couldn't believe what she was hearing.
What?! she actually wanted HIM to sit with them?! Unthinkable!
He was just going to get in the way!
But as she saw Blackleaf's innocent stare, she nodded hesitantly and called him over.
''Waterclaw!'' she yelled. ''Come and sit with us or i''l rip your flea-bitten pelt off!''

Her green eyes narrowed as ears twitched to Gazeclaws tone, Her taill waved back and forth over the groud with a twitch ever so often. she bent her head to take another bite of fish that she quickly chewed and swallowed before glancing back over at waterclaw to see if he would join

'They must be up to something' he mused 'Fine i'll play your game!'
''yeah sure i'll sit with you'' he said drowzily, padding up to where the two she-cats sat.

Gazeclaw gave him a sharp look and watched him sit down next to Blackleaf.
''I think i'll go hunt.'' she rasped to them.
Her true feelings were that she didn't want to sit next to him!

"are you sure, and thank you for sitting with us Waterclaw or should I say with me" She purred as she flicked her tail softly at Gazeclaw. before glancing at waterclaw and taking another bite of fish

Waterclaw sat dumbly and just stared at blackleaf.
''uh.. yeah'' he replied, not used to this kind treatment.
''I..uh.. OH! This is fish is just the best!!'' he replied enthusiastically while taking huge bites out if the food. Needless to say he got loads of weird looks from cats all over the camp.

A purr rumbled deep in her throught, "help your self to my fish, im full" She meowed and pushed it towards him with one paw. She let eyes gleaming with amusement before she turned her head and raan her tounge over her shoulder a couple times to get it to shine.

'hmm... why DID she want me to sit with her? no one asks me to sit next to them normally...' his thoughts trailed off when she offered him some of her fish, he looked at it, blinked, and looked at her.
''Thankyou..'' she said quickly before gulping down the tasty fish.
''so...um..do you want to go on border patrol with me?'' he asked
'wait...WHAT?! DID I JUST ASK TO GO ON BORDER PATROL??' he was suddenly caught up in his own thoughts that he didn't hear her answer
''sorry.. what?'' he asked dumbly.

With eyes turning to silts as they glowed with pure amusement "I asked her if you could join, I could go on protrol with you but i have one blind eye and am the medicine cat" she purred with amusement
